Most modern cars hit the warning at about 1/16th of a tank — typically 30–50 miles of remaining range. But that estimate depends on driving style; if you've been climbing hills or running A/C hard, it's less.

Don't run the tank below E. Repeatedly running dry can damage the fuel pump (which is cooled by the gasoline surrounding it). A new fuel pump runs $400–$900 installed.

If you actually run out, we deliver gas at $249 / hour service rate plus fuel at cost. Most deliveries finish inside the 1-hour minimum. Book online for $224 first hour.
