Soft straps go around the handlebar pinch bolts or the lower triple clamp — never around brake reservoirs, fairings, or fragile trim. Improper strap points crack plastic and bend metal.
The bike sits on its wheels (not on its side) with a front-wheel chock locking it in place. Soft straps pull it down into the chock so it can't shift. Two straps front, optional rear stabilizer.
